Bratton War MemorialThe War Memorial looked splendid, having been cleaned over the summer so that inscriptions are now clearly visible. It was delightfully decorated by knitted poppies prepared by Bratton Women’s Institute along the surrounding chain

fence and, an innovation this year, around the Spanish Chestnut tree beside the memorial.

The Act of Remembrance was led by the Chairman of the Bratton Branch of the Royal British Legion, Col Mike O’Donoghue, CBE and Rev Malcolm Wieck.
