I am the Wiltshire Councillor for Ethandune and responsible for the Parishes of Edington, Bratton, Heywood and Dilton Marsh.
All my adult life I have lived in villages in Wiltshire and have always been involved with village groups and activities. This has given me a real insight into village life and the aspirations and concerns of local people.
I am passionate about village life, protecting our environment and supporting residents to ensure that our villages remain wonderful places to live. I support our Parish Councils and many volunteer groups, this also gives me a great opportunity to chat to local people and get to know more about each village. I am always happy to discuss any local issues that residents need help or guidance with.
I also hold the position of Portfolio Holder for Special Educational Needs, Disability (SEND), where I work with many partner agencies supporting our young people to ensure they have access to the best services to meet their needs.
I am a member of Westbury Area Board; this is a Board of local elected Wiltshire Councillors, and our objective is to support our communities to develop, address local issues and work with partner groups. We work closely with all our Parish Councils and provide the local link to Wiltshire Council.
