There was a special celebration at the Coronation TeaBags event on Monday 8th May to celebrate the opening of the new wheel-chair access path at the Bratton Church Institute.
The new path was ceremoniously opened by Mrs Rosemarie Gale cutting a ribbon, followed by a prayer and blessing by Rev’d Malcolm Wieck and dedicated as the Coronation path.
Our Village Cryer, Ray Davis and our Wiltshire Councillor for Ethandune, Suzanne Wickham, were in attendance. Debbie Bailey provided a pleasing musical accompaniment, and led a resounding chorus of the National Anthem.
The opening was followed by a splendid Coronation tea , with many gloriously scrumptious celebratory cakes, put on by the TeaBags team. The event well supported by so many Bratton residents. Debbie delighted the party with further musical accompaniment throughout the proceedings.
Thanks are due to Richard Gale, who managed the establishment of the new path.
