Public Information Event – Housing Development

Wiltshire County Council Public Consultation on Bratton’s New Housing Development
You are invited to public information evening at 7pm on Thursday 28 September in the Jubilee Hall to hear from Ashford Homes about the development for 31 houses they have designed for the field on the western entrance to the village immediately to the west of Court Orchard, to the north of Westbury Road.
Last year Wiltshire County Council granted outline planning permission for a housing development on the field known as Site 321. This has been sold to developers, Ashford Homes, who have now submitted a detailed planning application addressing the ‘Reserved Matters’ including issues such as the design and layout of the houses, parking and landscaping. The Parish Council have arranged a public information meeting so that Ashford Homes can present their designs and answer any questions. We hope that this will provide an opportunity for the village to be well informed about the largest expansion of the village for several decades.

Villagers’ views will also be taken into account by the Parish Council when we submit our response to Wiltshire Council consultation by the deadline of Tuesday 3 October 2023.
