SC24/03 Confidential Information

In view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted following Agenda Item SC24/04 (inclusive to Agenda Item SC24/07) members are asked to consider resolving that the press and public be excluded from this part of the meeting. Such a resolution would be in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 Sec 1 (2), which states “A body may, by resolution, exclude the public from a meeting (whether during the whole or part of the proceedings) whenever publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted or for other special reasons stated in the resolution and arising from the nature of that business or of the proceedings; and where such a resolution is passed, this Act shall not require the meeting to be open to the public during proceedings to which the resolution applies.’’ Reason for exclusion – Staffing matters

 

SC24/04 Wiltshire Council Pension Fund

To receive a report from the Clerk (following consultation with the Council’s payroll provider and Internal Auditor) regarding options for the employers and employees payment of the backdated pension contributions due.

 

SC24/05 National Salary Award 2024-25

To receive information from NALC confirming the national salary award agreed from 1st April 2024 and to consider adoption thereof; and to further consider whether any annual spinal point increment is appropriate.

SC24/06 Clerks Annual Timesheet

To receive the Clerks timesheet for 2024 to date and consider whether any adjustments are required to the Clerks working hours and/or arrangements.

 

SC24/07 Complaint – Members behaviour

To receive a complaint lodged in relation to a members’ behaviour and consider what course of action to take – Chair to report.

 

SC24/08 Next Meeting

To set a date for the next meeting.
