You are hereby summoned to attend an extraordinary meeting of the Parish Council to be held on Thursday 28th September 2023 commencing at 7.00 pm in the Jubilee Hall for the transaction of the business shown on the agenda below.

LAND NORTH OF WESTBURY ROAD AND WEST OF COURT ORCHARD, BRATTON

The Chair of the Parish Council will provide an introduction to the extraordinary meeting.  This will be followed by:

  1. A presentation from Planning Sphere Ltd and Ashford Homes SW Ltd on the reserved matters application (max 15 minutes)
  2. An extended Open Forum session (max 45 minutes) for public questions and comments

For information please note that the reserved matters application now allows for comments on the detail of the proposal including its layout, appearance, use of materials and issues of overlooking etc. If there are specific concerns now is the time to raise them for both Wiltshire Council and the applicants to consider. We cannot however return to the ‘principle of development’ or the access onto Bratton Road as these have already been approved in the outline application’. The case officer will be looking closely at the details and can ask for revisions or additional information, to which he already has, regarding cross section site levels.

Council to receive apologies for absence and, if appropriate, to resolve to approve the reasons given. LGA 1972 s85(1).

 
2023/43 Declarations of Interest and Dispensations to Participate

a)         To receive declarations of interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 in respect of officers and the Localism Act 2011 in respect of members.

b)        To receive any dispensation requests received by the Parish Clerk and not previously considered.

PL/2023/07170 – LAND NORTH OF WESTBURY ROAD AND WEST OF COURT ORCHARD, BRATTON, WILTSHIRE – Reserved Matters application for the erection of 31 No. dwellings and associated works pursuant to outline application PL/2021/05259.
