86 Bratton Week Event

The Group discussed the arrangements for the day using Place Studios note Planning Outline and Practicalities Note Version 1(the Note).

The following was agreed

The event would be held between 2:30 and 8:00pm.  It would be publicised in the June edition of the BPN, on the website and by an article in the White Horse News.  Arrangements would need to be made regarding refreshments and flowers.

The Boards proposed by the Note were accepted in principle but there were a lot of issues within the detail that was needed to be addressed.  Sian would take responsibility and work with Place to settle the wording.

In addition two additional plans were proposed to be shown at the beginning of the exhibition which had been prepared by Keith and agreed by the Group.

The Chair would send the timeline to Sian and the Vision and Objectives which had already been included in the draft Plan.

James would prepare the Green Spaces Plan and Keith a Plan showing the proposed Housing sites.

Rob would draft a note for Sian suggesting a couple of extra Boards dealing with Transport and the Local Economy.

87 Status of Draft Plan Document

Keith and the Rob were working together to develop the Plan.  Keith reported that he had added a Preface and a section about the Neighbourhood Plan process which he felt would assist villagers in understanding the purpose of the Plan.

An updated version once agreed by Keith and the Rob would be placed in the Dropbox.

Rob considered that the Plan should also focus in a positive way on the issues which needed to be addressed because of the Climate Change emergency.

88 New Parish Website

The chair suggested that additional pages are added for local green space, views and character assessments giving an overview of the progress to date.

The Group were asked to consider individually what further information should be included in the Neighbourhood Plan section of the website and send any suggestions to the Chair.

89 Date of next meeting

The next meeting would be scheduled for 8th June at 7:00pm.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 9.15 pm.
