Bratton Jubilee Hall

Category: Services

Situated just three miles from Westbury on the B3098, the Jubilee Hall in Bratton was originally built in 1887 for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. In 2002 after a great deal of hard work and extensive fund-raising, an extension was added for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The building has more recently had a complete makeover and has been awarded a Best Kept Village Hall in Wiltshire plaque.

The Jubilee Hall is a charitable trust, managed by a voluntary Committee of Trustees, the Bratton Jubilee Hall Management Committee (BJHMC) who undertake the upkeep and running of the Hall on behalf of the Parish Council.

The Jubilee Hall is home to many activities and clubs, such as pilates, art, dance, choirs and amateur dramatics.  The Parish Council hold their meetings there.

The hall can accommodate an audience of up to 100 seated, or 70 seated at tables and is fully equipped with sound, projection and screen for anyone wishing to use the facilities.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and bar area, perfect for parties, wedding receptions etc.

On the first Sunday of the month, the management committee prepares a three course breakfast, which is very popular with villagers.  Occasional events are quiz nights, skittles and dinner dances.

Further information and photos of recent events can be found at  the Bratton Jubilee Hall website.
